Getting Here

Sloping hillside covered in yellow wildflowers looking down at Kalamalka Lake and surrounding mountains from the Okanagan Gondola

A road trip show-stopper. Take the scenic route and pay us a visit.

You’ll find us in the heart of BC’s Okanagan Valley, just off Highway 97 at the Bailey Road exit. We’re 20 minutes north of Kelowna International Airport (YLW), 40 minutes from downtown Kelowna, and 15 minutes south of Vernon. Whether you’re coming from afar or just down the road, the best way to get here is by car. Flying in? Rental cars are available at YLW. When you arrive, there’s free parking for cars and RVs, and OK Doug the parking lot tree is waiting.

We can't wait to welcome you! Okanagan Gondola opens April 2, 2027. Until then, our site remains closed to visitors as we prepare for opening day.

Road Trip to the Gondola

Take Highway 1 east to Hope, then the Coquihalla (Highway 5) north to Merritt. From there, the Okanagan Connector (Highway 97C) takes you to Highway 97. Head north through Kelowna to the Bailey Road exit.

Head west on the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) through the Rockies and Rogers Pass to Sicamous, then follow Highway 97A south through the Shuswap. At Vernon, continue south on Highway 97 to the Bailey Road exit.

Mountain highways can change quickly, so check DriveBC for road conditions before you leave. Winter tires are required on many BC highways from October 1, and on some mountain passes until April 30.
