A new way to experience the Okanagan
The land is ancient. The ride to the top takes eight minutes. You’ll find us perched atop Ellison Ridge, a rocky outcrop overlooking the glacier-carved Kalamalka Lake, just 40 minutes north of downtown Kelowna and 15 minutes south of Vernon. Glide high above the treetops as the valley opens up around you, then step out into the heart of the North Okanagan. Wander trails built around natural features. Take in 270-degree views of the “Lake of a Thousand Colours.” Indulge in seasonal, locally sourced food. Explore the summit building, designed to blend into the landscape. The ride up is where it all begins.
Who We Are
Okanagan Gondola is part of Ridge North America, a Kelowna-based company that creates places to play, stay and live, from family-friendly attractions and resorts to housing for employees and the broader community. Our sister attractions include Squamish Canyon and Glacier Raft Co., both here in BC. The Okanagan is home for us, and we’re building something here for locals and visitors to enjoy for generations.
How We Shape The Experience
“On behalf of the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association, we are excited to see the Okanagan Gondola opening this spring. We believe it is a tremendous new year-round experience that both our residents and visitors will be able to enjoy.”
